Actually, as stated in the Offical Hotel thread:
Once you reserve a room from the block in your name, you may cancel the room up to 24 hour prior to arrival.
You need to book via the phone number, NOT the website! Call 877-283-4055, ask for a room in the "C3 Vette Registry" block.

    • The date you are starting your trip to Carson City (S) - Thursday
    • The date you expect to arrive Carson City (A) - Thursday, were located about 2.5 hrs south of Carson City          
    • The date you expect to leave Carson City (L) - Saturday or Sunday
