Adam I believe you stand corrected. We all know about the infamous Sturgis bike run in the blackhills, I've also heard about a corvette meet also held there. I guess this was the right forum. |haha|

Actually this is the special forum for the C3 gathering in Bowling Green this coming October, which C3VR is co-hosting with the National Corvette Museum.

The Black Hills Corvette Classic actually starts at the eastern side of South Dakota in Sioux Falls and then caravans west across the state to Spearfish. That is virtually 'coast-to-coast' across South Dakota (a loonnnggg day of driving - believe me...!!!).

And the correct forum for discussion of the BHCC would be in the West Region Events.

Vette(s): 1960 (got wiped out in the Rapid City flood of 72), 1968 roadster(sold it so I could buy the 71), 1971 Coupe Chromed almost everything underneath. Had it since "76"
I live about 90 miles from Spearfish here in Wy. It's beautiful there . Mt Rushmore, Devils Tower, Deadwood (gambling) Anyway, Google "Corvette Rally in the Black Hills" and you will get all kinds of answers. It costs about $140 to enter. I started going when it was just $10. It's mostly late model Corvette's anymore. I haven't gone to it for about 12 yrs. But then I went to it for 15 yrs. in a row. Got married in July just so we could honeymoon at the ralley. Wonder if that has any thing to do with me not going in recent yrs? Anyway it's a good time, lots to see and do.
