Vette(s): 1973 Stingray Coupe and C5 and C6 Coupes.
Arrived in Bowling Green early this afternoon.
The countryside is beautiful this time of year with lots of fall colors adorning the hills.
Stopped by the museum and met Adam
. Had a nice chat with Adam and Adam (Boca) and Roc (Adam's boss).
Wish the weather would cooperate at bit more. Overcast and drizzly now. Should clear up a tad in the morning, but showers are forecast for Thurs afternoon and Friday morning. Saturday sounds like a winner in the making.
For those that can make it to C3X I look forward to meeting you all.
For those that can't you are all in our thoughts and hope to meet/see you in the future.

For about an hour on 65S heading into BG was REALLY pretty. There are spots that the median of the highway is thick with trees that are all turning colors right now. I just wish the sky was blue.
It was nice to meet you and the others that I already met today. I expect to be meeting even more C3VR'ers over the next few days. If I haven't already told you all.. I have a HORRIBLE memory, so if I forget your names, don't be offended!

Colors were awesome! That made the senic road trips a great ride. So did all the twists and turns too. Thanks for the Jam House road trip Jim! (stingrayjim)
Hey Ken,
dwright, Snoopy, and Michele and I were thinking about you as we past by Cuyahoga Falls today. I didn't have your # otherwise we would have called. Nice foliage out there to.
Also, It was a pleasure to meet all of you at C3X. Hope to do it again soon. And hopefully meet more of our members.
And thanks to all those that worked so hard to make this happen!

Our experience with the entire C3X was great. We met a lot of great 'Vette' enthusiasts and enjoyed the entire 'Experience'. The rain put a little damper ( no pun intended) on some of the activities but we all made it through fine. The get together dinners were great as were the impromptu parties at the Country Hearth Inn after the days events.
I really would like to thank StingrayJim for all his kindness and great atrtitude as well as the 'Jam Run' on Friday.
The drive on Saturday through the winding roads was very scenic and fun, especially when Iron82 and I took 'em up to 90 plus just for the heck of it. It was great putting faces to handles and names. I also want a rematch with Adam Boca on the cart track someday.
Our goodbye breakfast was a great end to a very fun weekend and the drive home was very uneventfull and enjoyable ( 5 hrs flat door to door). Hope to see you all again someday.

Just got home. It was a long drive, but well worth the trip. Thoroughly enjoyed the Extravaganza, the museum, the Diamond Mine ride and lunch, the plant tour the car show and especially the caravans through the country side. Never new KY had so many twisting roads.
Thanks Sarge81 and Michele for leading our little caravan.
It was really a great 5 days.
I'll e-mail some pictures tomorrow.
Gotta get some sleep now.

If you can, post some of the pics on here. Sounds like a good time. Sorry I couldn't make it, as I wanted to badly go to BG. Things just didn't work out for me. Hopefully I can make the next get together because you sound like you had a great time.
I also want to add my thanks. Everyone made me feel very welcome.
Thanks to the Adams for co-hosting the event,Stingray Jim for making sure I got back to the hotel at night,"little Jimmy" for the free breakfast,
Dave Wright for the name tags, they helped us figure out who everyone was, and especially Sarge and Michelle for leading our caravan. I probably wouldn't have attemped it on my own. (note to self; replace rear suspension before next road trip.Changing lanes without turning steering wheel was NOT an option in '74)
Hope to do it again some time.
