Dang, I though we could all huddle under the tent during a rain storm and drink beer to stay warm like we did in PF.

Terry,
As noted on another thread, there is a car show in town that weekend, so I'm sure some of us would be interested in that. Maybe on Saturday.
Here is the Carson City events calendar website. http://www.carson-city.org/events/index.php
Also, a drive around Lake Tahoe and the mountains would be fun.
Adam has Saturday evening reserved for C3VR Banquet.
So we need plans for Thursday and Friday.
Do you think they might have a go-cart track?

I faxed adam the info i recieved on the car show, it sounds like they have a lot of things going on and about 300 cars last year, only thing is they want a flat $65.00 per car, that is for 1 event or the whole 3 day week end, I personally do not want to spend that much for a show and shine.
Now they do have street dance to 50's 60's music and vendors and a parade/ criuse friday, saturday night. I would not mine going to the car show to look around but not to pay 65 bucks to park my ride, hell if all of our vettes criused into town and parked in the same location we would have our own car show.
I like the drive around the lake, a cruise into virgina city, there walking tour of kit carsons trail, hell i am even up to spending the three days sitting on my butt getting to know everyone from the other side of the computer screen.
Just my pennies worth.

I appreciate the idea of this thread, however, please do not plan anything for Thursday, Friday or Saturday. I plan to come up with an agenda, like I did in Pigeon Forge last year. I would like suggestions of what you would like to do there. I am planning a cruise around lake Tahoe, which will likely take the better part of a day. I'm not sure which day yet, but it will be Friday or Saturday. I don't think anyone wants to spend Thursday driving around for the day after taking the long drive to CC.
So, please keep the ideas coming. As I put the agenda together, I will post it.
Thanks!!

Cool Adam that sounds like a great plan, I think that was the idea of this thread, to come up with ideas and suggestions. I also agree with not cruising all day after riding down in the Pacer.
I would like to do the cruise around the lake for sure. As for the car show, I was looking forward to all of us showing there but not for $65 each

I am all for a drive around the lake
. I have done that since I was a teenager. I do enough car shows by me that I would not want to do one at Carson City. I like to explore new areas not sit around. That being said, I would not mind taking a little time to look at some of the rides at the show. Iam going to try and research the area to see what might be fun to do later today and get back to you.
