I am having a 1969 vet delivered on the 14 of oct.
I will ask the company if they would give a good rate to C3VR to transport their cars to and from the 2007 event. we could have a central pick-up location for everyone to load and recover their vehicles. We could load the cars-fly to the gathering retrive the cars for the event then do the reverse on the trip home. If we have enough interested we can shop for cheap flights.

Vette(s): My 1974 Vette sold last August 2014. I am still willing to show up to events and local gatherings if anything happening No new vette yet.
there is a train that covers the east to west. and it is literally called the car train. my friend bought a 55 corvette in california, put it on the train and picked it up on the east coast and trucked it home on a flat bed from there.
thats another option.

The "car train" option is worth looking into. Some East Coast folks have used one to go to/from Florida. Would want to know if the cars are covered or not. Would also want to know about security. liability, etc. 2500 miles or so is a long way to go - and a lot could happen to he car along the way if precautions aren't taken by the train company.
The USAF has these large cargo planes used to transport tanks. Probably could fit 6-12 sharks in one. Any of you guys have connections?

All the C-5's are busy carrying ammo, might be able to swing a C-17? The cargo drop might be a little tough on the sharks?
rock chips and all??
