Ohio is a long way from Texas, but I DO have a caravan.
Of course it's a 92 Dodge Caravan. Does that count?
Sorry to hear that, Ken.

Count me in! I'll make reservations in PF tomorrow. Are any of you staying at the host hotel? Any suggestions? I've never been to PF.
Mick, I think I'll be right there with you on the gas stops!
So how many of us are going from this area?

Man, that's a relief....another addition to the Caravan!

Hey, my car's a chrome bumper too! I could probably use anything that flies off of yours!
Then again, I'll promise not to sell/trade/keep anything that comes off of your car, if you'll do the same for my car!!
And I like the color. It stands out from the crowd, unlike a "common" color such as red!
(Alright, before the fighting starts......I've had two red vettes in the past. Anything red looks faster than other colors and attracts attention like crazy, as the tickets from my younger days will attest. Well, maybe doing 75 in a 35 had a little something to do with that, but that wasn't my fault, really!! I swear they hide those little signs on purpose!!! )
Don't worry, I've mellowed out as I've gotten older. I really try much harder to stick within 15-20 mph of the posted limits!
I'm looking forward to the trip!

Hey, I try!
Most vette owners are part sht-talker (my car's better than yours, etc), part crazy
(I drive a 34 year old piece of fiberglass, which also happens to be a convertible, at high speeds.....enough said!!), not to mention the big egos
(let's face it, who doesn't instantly recognize a vette, and secretly wish they had one!!. No matter what condition your car is in, there's always some kid somewhere who says it's the coolest car they've ever seen!) Next to actually driving the car, that's the biggest rush you can get!
To quote one of my favorite movies: "It's good to be the king!"
Hey all. Is there a way to search for members by their location?
I was looking at all of the 72's registered on the site, and realized that there were several more from Dallas, and from around the state. They are no longer active members. It looks as if they just let the temp membership expire.
I'm wondering, if there were a way to look up people by state, if we could contact them to see if they might be interested in making the trip with us? There has to be more than just four or five of us from this area who want to go.
Since I'm a new member, I didn't want to just start contacting people, and I don't know if there's a better way to look them up in the system.
Any thoughts or ideas??
