Sarge81, Michele and I are planning to leave Western NY on Wednesday, 6/21 around 5 PM and head toward Pittsburgh with an overnight stop near Morgantown, WV. We will arrive in PF the afternoon of 6/22.
Anyone in the area want to join us?

Dave & Sarge,
I talked to Michele last night. I'll come up with a suggested stopover place near Morgantown, since I was raised around there, and meet you all there.

Sarge & Dave,
I suggest the Super8 Motel in Fairmont, WV. It's about 20 miles south of Morgantown, WV and I've stayed there before. In fact, my wedding party stayed there when we got married in 2003. I've also stayed there. It's clean and reasonable in price. The internet price is about $60.
There's a Cracker Barrel next door for vittles and a BP gas station on the same side or a Chevron across the road - whichever you prefer. Just up the road is a Bob Evans, Hardees, Taco Bell, and 1 or 2 others.
The motel info follows:
Super 8 Motel - Fairmont
2208 Pleasant Valley Road
Fairmont, WV 26554
Phone: (304) 363-1488
Reservations: (800) 800-8000
E-Mail: tjsuper8gm@aol.com
Web Site: "http"//www.super8.com"
To get there, take I-79 exit 133 (Kingmont Road)
At top of ramp, turn left back over I-79
At stop sign, turn right and take second right into motel parking lot
It's about 400 miles from there to Pigeon Forge.
See ya there on Wednesday evening!

Sarge/Dave,
Check my entry on the "Caravan - From Virginia" thread. I suggested a place we might meet them - and maybe the NJ/PA group as well.

Terry,
West Seneca, NY to Fairmont, WV is 300 miles or about 5 hours, so that looks good for Wednesday evening.
Fairmont to Wytheville, VA is 225 miles or about 3.5 hours, so that looks good for a morning ride.
Wytheville to Pigeon Forge is 175 miles or 3 hours, an easy afternoon drive.
And the Super 8 sounds good.
Sounds like a plan to me.
How's that sound to you Sarge?
