Bad news.
It looks like my vette will be in the shop longer then I would like it to be. My personal work is making me work on my vette on my weekends off.
Hope I can finish mine in three months. That's the plan for now.
The good news.
We will be in Portland on the 15th of June.
A full three days before our meeting up with the gang trekking to Pegion Forge,Tn.
We both are EXCITED and CHEERFUL. Hurry up June.....
Mike we should be in Portland Friday night as well. We will be staying with the wife's parents on the east side of town.
Great. I'll be with my brother. Lives around I-205 and I-84 turn off.
It's around 10minutes to get to the Rose Garden where we are gathering for the trek east.
Is June here yet!!!

Hey you two, I'll be in Portland a day early maybe we could go to dinner and have a brewski to cheer on the Caravan from Texas. I hear it's a short wagon train of three Corvettes and six support vehicles full of TV's, refrigerators and relief drivers,
boy, that Joel sure knows how to have a good time. I sure can't wait to meet him...

Terry, That's great. We'll be ready for the dinner and brewskies when you arrive. Joel will be the caboose of our caravan trian when we meet him. He's just too slow driving....
Yes, can't wait to meet him and the others. This will be a blast.

Sounds good to me. I would be more than happy to cheer on our friends in Texas
. We will be staying near 140 th and Foster. See you soon.
I took the vette in today for its alignment after the front end rebuild this winter. Looks like I need to get some offset upper A arm cross shafts. They couldn't get it into spec. I should have figured something was not right. The upper A arms didn't have any shims in the front position. So now the fun starts again.
I'll give ya a call on the 18th on your cell before I head down to Portland. I will stay at a hotel near the jump off point, Garden Arena.. Must be some high class place we can go? We'll find some sea food place..hungry like a wolf?
