When traveling, I always make sure I enjoy my drive.  If I can't enjoy my drive then I don't drive.  I fly.   This trek will be enjoyable for all of us caravaning down.  If you guys can keep up with me....     Just kidding...

once we get the dates I will know for sure  whether me and the wife can go, we can meet up with you in st. louis MO. If anybody needs repair I have a buddy that owns a street rod shop located just off of I-55 on the IL. side. I am sure he will open his arms and his shop to us.Even though my car is not a trailer queen the wife is whining about driving it that far (something about no where to put clothes and where will all the stuff goes that she buys) so there is a possibility we will trailer it, the plus side is if anybody does have any problems on the way my car could go off the trailer and the wounded one would have a ride.we go to PF about every 3 years and it is a good time with lots of outlet malls and plenty of stuff to do. They also have trolleys that run the roads every 5 minutes  so once the cars are parked you still have transportation anywhere you would want to go.

I told my lady to pack light and when ever we collect any collectables that are non glass, etc. we will send them out by United States Post Office in each town/city we are at.

That's very  to know also.  Thanks.

1 thing they also do down there is most stores will wrap and ship your items for you, you don't pay any taxes on items shipped out of state and that just about covers the shipping charges.
... Using the shortest route we will pass through 11 states, the speed limits change as follows;4 states the interstate speed posted is 65MPH, 3 states will have 70MPH,and 4 states will have a posted speed of 75MPH ...
In the travelling I've done, both in "The Toy" and other vehicles, I've never been bothered by "the law" when keeping the speedo set at 5 over the posted limit.  Most of the time I've been holding up traffic when doing that so go figure.  Just keep an eye on what the local folks are doing and you should be ok.

Jim,  That sounds like a great plan.    So to all that are going east with Terry and I.  We will just take our time going over 5 mph on the speed limits traveling east to the gathering.

This will be fun and enjoyable.
