Vette(s): had a really nice one. sold it to a good friend. Purchased 2004 custom coupe in Feb. 2009 did not tell anyone here until August 2009. BAD I KNOW.

I have put things in motion to go  I to fell the need to go now.  What a great thing to have in your memory bank.  Loking forward to meeting everyone.  Found oujt to day that our contracted bonus will be for $.30 an hour for all hours paid, to include holidays and overtime, that I worked in 2005 and that it will be around the end of march first part of april.  Also going to go put the for sale sign on the empty lot this friday, hopefully sell it quick, don't really need to get a lot for it to break even. I have been dropping hints to the wife and the boss.  she also really liked her Christmas gift so I have an ataboy good play in the bank.  Still waiting on the dates? any idea when the is going to be decided.  I belong to the corvette owners thing and also AAA some I can get some fair motel pricing as I'm sure every can.  We keep you posted

Larry

Great news Larry, I had the feeling you would get good news and would be able to join in on the fun. I think your wife will also have a good time? I keep telling my wife she will, and yes I did agree to teach her how to drive my car? What was I thinking.. My guess is that we will know sometime this weekend  what the results of the vote is and then we can lock in our vacations with employers..You and I will probably be the first to hook up on our way to Portland to meet others. The only thing now is to wait and hope that an inheritance check comes in the mail..Talk to you soon..Terry
... My guess is that we will know sometime this weekend  what the results of the vote is and then we can lock in our vacations with employers. ...
Top of the thread for picking the date is this:
... In round 1 voting the majority voted to NOT have the event during an exisiting event... just have the weekend to ourselves.  ...
ONLY VOTE IF YOU PLAN TO ATTEND FOR THE DATE/MONTH YOU CHOOSE!
Voting Deadline is 1/7/2006!
...
Look for the results of which month the gathering will be held on Sunday.  I'm not sure how Adam plans to lock in the actual days so stay tuned.  If June wins out (it has a slight lead at the moment) look for the gathering to be later in the month as Adam has commitments the first two weekends.

Jim G,  Can you believe this guy? Iron82, Mr. Mike Gross, he is driving all the way across the USA, to the West Coast, to hook up with me, the  outback Alaskan, and guide me and other's so we don't get lost on the way to Pigeon Forge, TN...This C3VR member as never met me? I say this guy has a heart of Gold, my feeling is that most of the membership strikes me to be in the same category, and I can't wait to meet as many as I can; I see from all the pictures of their Corvettes, you people are my kind of people. I just hope that I'm Worthy to fit in and y'all accept me..Terry

That goes for you Jim O and Joel you too, all jokes aside..

Jim
Yes,  I'm driving out west to see my brother and this gives me an oppurtunity to drive the vette long distances.  I've wanted to do this with the vette since I got mine.

That's Great news Larry.  Can't wait to see everyone from the west.

You wanted to relax and catch some sleep while she drives to the gathering.

Vette(s): My 1974 Vette sold last August 2014. I am still willing to show up to events and local gatherings if anything happening No new vette yet.

I am on the east coast and if it ends up being the second half of june then i will definitely see you guys there. the first half i have a convention i must attend for work and i can't get out of it.  my '74 stingray should be ready to go. it is currently in the shop getting a load of work done to it. next is the paint job, front bumper needs to be replaced, bought the fiberglass one and hopefully this february i will abel to get it in to a shop.  restoration takes alot of time and the money pit as a never ending hole. ah well, still fun to drive. what i love most is when a little import comes up next to me at a light and revs its intake and exhaust, the light turns green, i blow them away. lovin it.

see ya guys down there.
