Just check'd out your agenda/map,,, 800 miles a day, X 4 !!!! you folks are gonna have some major saddle sores!!!!
Have an idea for the route planners. Each state's "department of transportation" should have a web site with projected construction zones. It's a little early in the year for them to be accurate at this time, Check with them when its a month or so away from your trip. You might want a detour/change at some point.
Good luck folks,,,, Hopefully I'll hook up with you around illinois for the easy part of the trip.
If I cant get the time off,,,, maybe I could video the caravan from an overpass.
Maybe I should load up with some of those hemmoroid donut pillows for the group!!!!!!
Just to set the record straight I have a convertible black interior with an LT-1 engine WITH NO A/C lets talk heat, I don't care I drove down 101 seven hours in 95 degrees and loved it. Larry
Larry thats why Vettes like yours came with convertable tops. Don't worry If I do go I'll be riding in a hot seat like you. Yes I've got A/C doesn't blow really cold though, and beside I need to save as much gas as possible
Hey look at it this way - "If you can't take the heat, get out of the Corvette"

I know the voices aren't real, but they have some pretty cool ideas...

My MS Streets and Trips software will give you the latest construction data and it seems to be pretty accurate info...
Myself and others are determined to see this thru. A good time will be had by all please join me and I hope Iron82 for a blast of a life time..
My lady and I are with you 100% in seeing this through Terry!! I'll be waiting for the group to come down from Seattle. This will be a blast!!!
Just make sure everyone brings a camera and/or a video camcord. Then at each night I can down load some photos on my notebook or someone elses to this site for all can see and know where and how we are doing.
Well it looks like its official, I will be trailering my baby to Piegon Forge. I'm doing this for a few reasons, 1) I've got Zero, Zip, Zilch, Nada rock chip on my front end and 4k miles or so I'm guarenteed a few. 2) The wife wouldn't be able to handle riding that long in the Vette. 3) Not enough room for all the crap shes gonna wanna bring 4) If there is any kind of problems, we could always put another persons Vette on the trailer. 5) And most of all I don't trust her yet for a trip that long
Now I've gotta get my trailer hitch back on my truck and find a place to rent a trailer.

I would put some suranwrap around the front end. This will help your rock chips.
And glad you two are going. Now I can see how far back you will be from us vettes... Just kidding...
Just make sure you get everything arranged and we'll see you in our meeting area with the rest of the gang.
