Looks like I found a drop deck trailer to use for hauling the vette. I need to dirve over to the guy's house to check it out. Still a very good chance I will meet up with the group in Portland. Should know for sure in a month. This is going to be fun

Hey Terry or Mike,

Has anyone figured out what towns we will be stopping at for the night. This assumes that all the vettes and trucks run flawlessly which I know they will. That way we could look into what hotels will be available unless we want to sleep under the stars like the pioneers did.

Glen,

If everything goes right as you say.  First stop is Sault Lake City,  Second stop is around Lincoln, Neb. ,  Third stop is somewhere around Nashville,Tn.   Then the last 4 or 6 hours is PF.

Hope this helps but I was thinking of while we are driving and lunch/gas breaks the ladies would call ahead to reserve the rooms as they need something to do while the men drive.  har, har, har...

We wouldn't mind sleeping under the stars.   Just we don't need bugs in the hair when asleep with out a tent....

Well I still need to find a trailer, guess I better get looking   I'll take up the rear cause whichever (Vette or Truck) I end up driving will have a CB in it.  That way the nose and tail of the convoy can keep in touch and I won't slow anyone down, Larry you HotDoger. Oh ya we can set-up some hand and arms signals for Larry also cause I've heard his Vette   Sorry Larry just Joshing with ya

I'm getting the final hotel rates today, and have put together a trip planner for everyone, with your corvette on the front, next week I will send an email to the West Meets East Caravan members for your your home address so I can send them in the mail, to much for email, in color..I have all the needed information. The only thing thats not in the planner are the stops for my wife, every other rest stop, bathroomso I will be the one who will dart in and out of the caravan at a moments notice and always be trying to catch up. so I will be passing cilrah alot and giving him my hand signals..Terry spielman538752.5331828704

Come on now, tell the truth, the stops will be to refuel those thirsty little toys we have. Just don't drink a lot of coffee and that should help. All though that might be tough.
