I don't often mention CorvetteForum, but there is no denying that it is the biggest Corvette site on the web!

I also know that many of you frequent that site, which is fine.

Those of you that do hang out over there, please do C3X a favor and talk it up! Keep in mind, it is NOT just a C3VR Member event... it is an ALL C3 CORVETTE ENTHUSIASTS event!

I just returned from the forum cruise in. The forum people did a great job putting together an excellent program. I went on 2 road "tours" (more like races). The roads there are really nice, lots of hills and turns, everything is very green. One of the tours went to Diamond Cave, the other was a 81 mile tour of the back roads. A third "tour" went to the Jack Daniels distillery. These are the same roads that the Chevy engineers use to validate the new Corvettes, I'm sure they would never think of speeding Dave Hill, one of the top engineers for the C6 and the C5 came to the hotel and hung around a few hours, signed a lot of autographs, he is a very friendly individual whom I'm glad to have had the opportunity to meet. The forum people catered 3 meals and had a beer trailer at the hotel parking lot. This really added a lot of fun to the gathering, everyone would hang out at the hotel after the days activities and tell a lot of fun stories. I am hoping to attend the C3X if I can get the time off.
