I was told that "da Rook" made a very good (description of good may vary
) first impression on the C3VR group. I have been told that it would be very hard to out do his introduction, BUT if the package arrives in time, I do plan on handing out a little something to everyone as MY introduction.

David (da Viking)
David, I can't believe that we've forgotten to tell you to bring your wash buckets and cleaning supplies. As The Rook will tell you, it's the responsibility of the newbie at the gathering to wash everyone else's cars upon arrival. We'd like to let you off the hook since you seem like such a nice guy, but, it's tradition. Just ask Dan
I wanted a Corvette my whole life, but I never dreamed of all the wonderful people I would meet because of it!

Did we miss Mr. -n- Mrs. Apple on the list? Are you going to wait till the last straw is drawn to add it? C-mon, fire up the V-8 and get here.http://s77.photobucket.com/albums/j54/aapple2/video/?action=view¤t=Spielmancantwait.mp4

David - Marshall is correct ... wash buckets are required for the C3 introductions - how else will you get to know the cars and owners ?!?!

Marshall,
I also use a black tinted detail spray....that will look REALLY good on your car

I will indeed be carrying a bag of cleaning products and the only spray detailer I use now is that black stuff from Turtle Wax. The first time I used it, I looked at my cloth and almost fainted...I thought that I was rubbing the finish off because my cloth was BLACK...then I realized that the spary detailer was tinted black...wheeeeewh

I have offered to help Clint with his BEAUTIFUL white '64, but he always declines...I wonder why

so anybody who attends, has a black car, and has not tried it...I will demostrate how good it is..but ONLY in a small spot right in the middle of the hood

I no longer have a black car, but know others that do..... so, what time is the demo? Are refreshments allowed during the performance?
Can't wait, sounds like it's going to be a strange week indeed!
