Not gonna be able to check into the hotel until around 2pm, anyway...which is why I weren't gonna hurry gettin there.
Iffin the D/FW train leaves around 11, that would put us in Texark around 2pm, then into HS around 5. That would give us time to check in, meet a few folks, and then head out for the Wed. dinner @ Cajun Boilers@ 7.
We can still leave earlier from here, iffin that's what ya'll wants to do. Soooo...shall we now make the start-off time from D/Fw 10am? I'ts gud for me if it's gud fer ya'll.

But, but, but happy hour starts at 5. 'Course that doesn't interest us any, but some of the others might want to throw back a couple cold ones to wash down that trail dust. Wink LOL So, hey, whenever you guys get there, we'll be there. My rooster wakes me up at 6:30, but not for long. He's stewpot bound. Dead We're not there yet, are we?
Never hurts to allow for unexpected delays like my short cratering on me. Bring a tow rope. Nevermind. I got AARP. LOL

Okay Joel,

Don't rub it in!  LOL

We're hoping to leave the house (we're about an hour and a half from Texarkana) by 2 p.m. on Wednesday.  *keeping fingers crossed that everything is ready*

We have some little puny two-way radios that we'll probably bring and I'll get your cell number closer to time,,,,,,so we can check and see where y'all are!

And we're traileringApprove    CapnRon figured up the cost of diesel for the truck (with better fuel mileage) versus the cost of gas for the 'Vette.  Guess which won???  Plus, it's not really geared for long highway trips like that.  And, and, and,,,,,we won't tell him, but I'm glad because there's more room for our stuff in the truck!Rolling%20On%20The%20Floor%20Laughing

See y'all in a couple of weeks!

It's sneaking up on us, ya'll. Git them cars lubed-n-tuned, loaded, and ready to roll!
Check them lug nuts, air in the tires, fluid levels, belts, hoses, lights, horns, wipers, and spare tires.
