Drive to Crater Lake.   Crater Lake - Like No Place Else on Earth www.nps.gov/crl
ABSOLUTELY A KODAK "WOW" MOMENT  DON'T FORGET THE CAMERAS!!!!
Crater Lake........ What more can you say...
This would be a good 7 hour drive (2 hour drive down, 2 hours sight seeing & drive around lake, 1 hour lunch break & 2 hour drive back to Bend).  Plans are to stop on the way back to Bend at the Mohawk Restaurant in Crescent.  This is the restaurant we stopped at on our drive down to Carson City in 2007.  Pretty interesting place.....(Jackalope, 2 headed sheep, etc...) www.therealoregon.com/2008/01/01/mohawk-restaurant-lounge

Please reply to this post if you plan to go on this drive.

Count me in.  Was there in 2004.  Totally AWESOME place.  Didn't get to drive the rim because there was still too much snow up there.
