Expensive expensive. Almost killed the fuel budget on this trip. I was just about ready to stop at one of the cash until payday places but we made it home.  $108.00 at 30mpg.   Chevy corvette wannabe cobalt rental car.

Corvettes and women are the same...You want to make love to them but they keep breaking down.
I averaged 23mpg on 89 octane with an estimated 1,350 miles with an estimated price of $252usd.
I finally got my real total cost of mileage and gas from start to finish at home.  Still an average of 23mpg on 89 octane.

Mileage: 1,434   Gas:$209

I like!!!

I don't even want to know how much I spent... Whatever, it was well worth it. I do know I got 20 MPG driving there and back home, but for the 116 miles of the Tail-of-the Dragon trip it dropped to 10.5 MPG, don't care, the Tail was well worth it...

Drove 1324 miles ...used 50.2 gallons of Gas... thats an impressive
26.37 MPG...  Drove the C5 !

I do NOT keep track of how much I spend...only track gallons used..

Learned 20 years ago NEVER to keep track of the money...(it would make me sick..so I only keep track of Parts..tires, Oil & Gas & insurance etc .lol)

Best leg of the trip was from Boonsboro Maryland to Christiiansburg Virginia which I got 29.1 mg ...99.9 percent of that drive was on I-70
and I-81... cruise control was set at 77 ...

Spent the entire week in PF and all those trips around to each and every Outlet Mall really hurt the fule economy...as well as my wallet...had to ship several things home...via UPS ..  Can't wait for my credit card bill !

I'm with Dave - I don't want to know how much I spent on gas.  I just enjoyed the hell outta the whole thing.  I know I got about 18 to 19 mpg, which isn't bad for my old survivor.

I will travel about 3500 to 4000 miles at 15 to 16 mpg. It adds up to be a lot.
