fyi, I haven't been following the posts about the gathering too closely.  I've been busy with my new business so if this has been discussed before , I'm sorry.  had my Astro at my mechanic's shop this afternoon for some repair work.  he knows I'm rebuilding my engine.  he has my tranny to rebuild.  we started talking about a time table to complete it.  told him I'm not on too much of a hurry.  want to get my car back on the road in time to drive it to Pidgeon Fork late June.  said he's been there and had a great time.  his assistant too.  but told me that PF is in a dry county.  confirmed that with Holliday Inn.  not a big concern of mine.  I still plan on attending.  should be a lot of fun.  just think it's funny.  it's a long ride for me and a lot longer for many.  fair warnig, bring your beer along.
