Hey gang.
Just to give you a quick update. I am a day or two away from nailing down the hotel situation. We will have 2 "Host" hotels this year. The reason is that last year there seemed to be two groups of people. Those that stayed at the official host hotel, and the other that stayed at a cheaper alternative. (There were others, but for sake of argument, we won't include them).
So this year, we'll officially block two groups in two hotels. One is bigger, newer, nicer and pricier. One is smaller, older, not as nice and less expensive. The two that I'm looking at are only 1/2 mile apart! That should be very convenient for us to gathering for each event.
Looks like prices will range from $59/night to $95/night for single and double bed rooms some with queens, some with kings, some smoking, some non-smoking. I believe each hotel also offers suites if you so desire, but they will not be in the block.
Final details are forthcoming. Stay tuned...

Are there web sites for them so we can check them out? By the way that is a great idea, keeps more people happy

Thanks,
Dave

I'm one of the "others" you speak about above, but, I will conform this year to the Host Hotel, Bigger, newer, nicer and pricier is the way to go..

Of course. Not only that, but I have already prepared a side by side comparison to the both of them that I will post, too. All will be revealed when the plans are final. I don't want to drop names yet in case things fall through.
Thanks for your patience.
