Im sorry, but i wont be makiing it up to 2007 C3VR
. As you may know from my other posts, my Yellow Vette caught fire. While debating what to do with it, I found out how much a much neglected 12 y.o. loved the car, and the changes to her life by the hope of driving it when she reaches 16. We now are redoing the car to my mechanical dreams on weekends together, which gives her something else she needs (positive male role model), so no way that will be ready in time.
My Red Vette, i wont drive up there, sorry. Ronda and I struggled time and time again, and even though i could get it ready in time for the trip, and I have worked every way i can to get her comfortable with it (my thoughts was to rent out a storage unit for the weekend, rent a car, and switch them at night), she just doesnt feel comfortable having it out of our sites and not in its sheltered home.
Long story short, i wont be going to C3VR, sorry. You have no idea how much this hurts. I wont take a non-Vette, my heart would be breaking the whole time. Sorry everybody. dave.+-

I know your pain from last years trip to p.f. You will be with us in spirit, you could also have a lifesize cardboard cut out made and mailed to the hotel, and i would make sure that you get around to all of our events.

I'm not only taking a non-Vette, but it will be a rental car. So I'm not happy about that, but it is really my only option.
You can be there without a Vette! This event is not just about being with and seeing Vettes, it is about seeing and being with C3VR members.
I hope you'll reconsider and come anyway. For that matter, you are one of the closer members to Carson City. It would really be a shame not to be able to meet you while we're on the West Coast.
