Heck of a road trip...!!!  I plugged all of your stops into Google Maps and you're basically make half a lap of the lower 48!  Thumbs Up

Patty and I stopped in the Moab on the way back from Carson City in '07.  Wandered through The Arches NP which was very interesting but didn't have time to stop at Canyonlands.  Before that we spent a day hiking at Zion NP and and another day hiking at Bryce Canyon NP (if I had to pick one or the other I'd go for Bryce Canyon).  Hear tell there is a fantastic paved backroad route between Moab and Bryce Canyon.

The drive between St. George, UT and Lost Wages, NV on I-15 is pretty spectacular also.

HAVE FUN...!!!

Terry,

I thought about leaving a day early and stopping to see you and Patti, but I just have too many things going on here.

If you decide to have a gathering in MI or IN, let me know.

But we will definitely get together in 2014.

I want to do some things in Moab; hike, raft ride, sky dive, jeep ride. Never seen Arches or Canyonlands. I agree, Bryce is the best.

See you in Manitou Springs.

Dave, Just returned from Moab yesterday. Great little town on the banks of the Colorado River. Did Cayonland and Arches NP. Both are amazing, but if you only have time for one do Arches, parts of it are like being on another planet and the entrance is 2 minutes from downtown. It was 100+ both days we were there.

I'd love to see ya but I'll probably be at work when you roll past my place on the 22'nd.
You'll no doubt be itching to get home anyway being so close.

Jeff,
That's the kind of info I am looking for. I will definitely do Arches. Did you camp or motel?
I am planning to camp and I believe there is a KOA there. But I would prefer a NP if they have tent sites.
Dave
