Depending on route and speed of travel, about 2 hours. Your call.

Mark,
Don't be surprised if there is a knock on your door some evening.

You'll no doubt be itching to get home anyway being so close.

Hey Jeff, looks like I will head east when I get to Harrisburg, but I'll see you in August anyway.

Dave,
We motel ed it. There are several campgrounds in Moab. Arches NP has a campground with 52 sites (tent & RV) up near the end of the road near the Devils Garden area. We drove through it and it's really nice with great views. Here's a park # for Arches 435-719-2299

Hey Dave, did you know that you can camp anywhere in a National Forest, but some of the roads into the forest are not suited for a Vette.

No Dave, I did not know that. I guess a National Forest is different than a National Park.
Can I car camp in a Wal-Mart parking lot?

I guess you can stay in a Walmart lot, but there aren't as many out there as they are back here.

Dave, we would love to see you buddy. I know you have relatives within 40 mi. of us, but all the options are still offered ( prvt. room and etc.). I know we're 30 mi. off the nearest hwy. so if that doesn't work for ya, maybe we could come your way and meet for lunch sometime. If time with your relatives is too short, don't worry about a thing, we'll catch up to you on the forum, you've done some of the best photo spreads I've ever seen. Hope we haven't seen the last. I'll shoot you our info via PM.... Man, it's been almost 45 yrs. since I've been through Moab, Utah, sure would like to see a pic of the buttes. Drive extra careful. Happy trails.

Just can't wait to get on the road again.

Jimmy,
I got your PM and replied.
I printed out a map from my sister's place to yours and it is less than an hour drive time.
I looked on the map at Rt 26 for a place to meet between Rt 99 and your place and it looked pretty barren.
If you know of a place, let me know.
I also want to get up to my nephew's place in Cool, CA.
I may have to stay an extra day or get there a day earlier.
I will call you when I arrive and we can work something out.
Dave

Vette(s): 1982 C3 Collectors Edition 44000 miles, sat in the sun most of its life, My wife purchased it for me for Father's Day in 2007 from her girlfriend that had it for 19 years. It is on the road again. I'm retired but it is now my daily driver.
Looking forward to your stop in SO CAL.
I just thought I would post this link in case others are coming from that direction I stumbled on this place about 10 years ago and it is amazing then. You may want to thing about taking a little northern route. Should have posted it earlier.

I could have stopped there 3 years ago on my way home from Bend, Oregon.
Any car museums in SO CAL?
