Vette(s): had a really nice one. sold it to a good friend. Purchased 2004 custom coupe in Feb. 2009 did not tell anyone here until August 2009. BAD I KNOW.
IF YOU ARE PLANNING TO ATTEND EITHER THE MEET & GREET OR THE BBQ PLEASE READ THE FOLLOWING POST.

The total cost of the meet and greet dinner will be $30.00 per person.  It breaks down like this- $25.00 for the meal per person and $5.00 per person for the banquet room fees, taxes, blah blah blah.  Since this was not clear to me until recently if joining this is to be hard or to much for someone then please contact me, RADARB8, and I will cover the extra for you, more important that you are in attendance.

The cost for the BBQ is going to be $12.00(ish) per person.

PLEASE BRING PAYMENT FOR BOTH EVENTS IN THE FORM OF CHECK, MONEY ORDER OR CASH.  Since we have to collect our own monies we  have no way to take credit or debit cards, I hope you all understand.

Okay the tough stuff is over now for the fun stuff:

Some thoughts to make it a great trip for everyone (and to help Mike and I look really good!).  There are a lot of things going on in the Bend area the time we are there, so the better we plan the better it will work out.
1) fill up before you go the bed if you are going with a group on the cruises.
2) be on time for the driver meetings and drive departure times.
3) pack plenty of film, media disc, camera cards, batteries, etc as there will be plenty of kodak moments and with all of this craziness going on you just never know what is going to happen.
4) I have a few surprises so be ready to well you know....
5) ask questions, Mike is a local guy who could get you answers.  Me, I'll just more than likely make the answer up and feed you a line of bull.
6) PACK PLENTY OF WATER WITH YOU ON ANY OF YOUR OUTINGS.
7) offer up any suggestions you may have
8) charge up all hand held radios the night before, we will choose a channel at the drivers meetings
9) exchange cell phone numbers with a few members so you can always be in touch with some one
10) Shilo will provide water, hoses and buckets but we will need to bring our own wash, wax, q-tips, towels, sham- wows, homeless guy to do the windows, you get the idea.

OH THERE IS ONE OTHER BIG SURPRISE THAT YOU'LL JUST HAVE TO BE THERE TO HEAR ABOUT.

Thank you to everyone who is attending!  It is because of all of you that the time and effort has been put forth by the planning team to make this an adventure worth every mile you have traveled.Norsky2010-07-07 15:20:54

I'm so glad Karla and I changed our minds about attending, this is going to be such a blast.

Sounds great LarryThumbs Up

Now I hear, (pun intended) that I cant hear anything on a radio with the chambered exhaust anyway.

That is without just saying "what? what? what?"

Then again its the surprises that worry me......Big smile (knowing Larry!)

Yup that's a big 10-4, everytime we called Larry all we heard was What? What? What?  LOL  No seriously it was either too loud in the car
or he had the top down, I don't know which, or both.
