The Dallas - Fort Worth (DFW) area is easy to get to but hot in July-August. There are some great classic car venues north and west within an hours drive plus vintage planes and RR displays for those interested too. An Ok club meets annually just inside the OK line and it's fun roads out in the countryside to explore. Never having attended an outing, I'd be happy to help coordinate one here locally in DFW area but need help on typical agenda items. Would be fun and great way to finally meet some of these fine Internet forum friends!

Alternately, the Branson, MO area is beautiful too and a days drive from many points in this region.

Thanks,

Bryan

Since Bryan has offered to put something together in Dallas, that is currently in the lead. Bryan is investigating further the possibility of he and his wife doing this.  As soon as he can, he'll let us know if he will be able to take the lead or not.

Kansas City has lots to do. It’s centrally located. Not sure what month would be good temperature wise.

I would go to Kansas City in a heartbeat. Lots to see. Pick a date for a baseball game.

Brian, we had our Annual Gathering in Carson City in 2007.  Was a great time with trips to Tahoe, Virginia City and Reno events. Besides, next year we are to have it in the Midwest part of the country.

Time to start putting forth some ideas of where to hold the next Member Gathering. It will be our 18th Annual to be held sometime in 2020.  The date will depend on factors such as where it will be and who will be putting it together.

Going by our rotation schedule, we will be in the MID section, shown in blue in the map below. (You can also click here for an interactive map).

You are welcome to suggest any location within the MID section, however if you suggest a location that is familiar/near to you and you are willing to put an agenda together, that will certainly be given more weight than just a simple suggestion of a place you'd like to see.  All of the gathering agendas, outside of the few that I put together and Mid America, were created by members who were familiar with or live in the area. So, we'll be looking for someone to do that again in 2020.

As ideas are put forward, I will try to keep a list of them at the top of this thread.

TIC... TOC...

Time is running out to submit ideas for where to have the 2020 Gathering...!!!

Wow!!  Choices abound aplenty!!!  KC, Dallas, the Dakotas,  all sound like fun.  I agree with Dave a ballgame would be good.  There is also the Ozarks area.  We are planning on attending this year after missing out on the fun for the past two years.

finally arrived and rarin' to ride

What about in conjunction with the Woodward Dream Cruise in Detroit?
