Topic: Made it back from BG
in Forum: Annual C3VR Member Gathering
Made 4 stops for gas, food and pottie breaks.
Averaged 22 mpg for the entire trip, which wasn't too bad, considering we were never driving conservatively.
Had a great time with Sarge81 & Michele, Great Pumpkin & Terry, Tricer and Bev, 70_ONE, Stingray_Jim and Jimmy, Adam W. (thanks for the room- we didn't trash it too bad), Adam B. & Kelly and all the other C3VR members.
Can't wait for next year.

I had a good time up there. Wish I could have made it earlier and stayed longer. Next year maybe.
I bought one of the pics from NCM Adam took. Megan said that they would not be posted on the web site, but may be in the NCM Magazine's next issue. I emailed her the pics from the Banquet Saturday night and they will be in the mag, (per Megan).
If vettebeige81 will give me his email address I will be happy to email some pics from I took at the C3X. Email your address to me at jdgrant@hsnp.com
My wife and I had a great time and I must say that all of the C3 folks we met there were some of the nicest Vetters we have ever met!
Special thanks to all voted us in the People Choice car show. We got 2nd place. We were overwelmed!
We are looking forward to next year!

We got back home at midnight. What a long day.
I was a pleasure to meet some of the other folks here on C3VR at C3X.
Eddie 70, you car looks great man! My apologies for not getting back to shoot the breeze with you like I wanted too.
Actually, not enough hours in the day to really sit and talk to everyone. We had a good time all in all.

Good to meet you Sarge and glad to put a face with a name.
You guys surprised me when you pulled up. It was really good to meet you and your wife. Next year, maybe I can stay for the whole event.

What a great time we had in BG. The cars were excellent and the NCM had some wonderful events. But the best part is the people we met. We renewed some old friendships and started some new ones.
Thanks for the good times everyone!
