I have not attended one of these events before but am real interested in taking my vette out on a "shake down cruise" to this gathering.  Would any of you from Michigan be interested in getting together to hit the road as a group?

Vette(s): 1979, 350sb, as my kids affectionately call it "shit brown" Corvette purchased in 1996. 84,000+ miles. Not a show car, but I love her just the same.

Yeah Crusin:

Plans aren't set in stone by any means yet.  But, if I do get the opportunity to drive down I will want to join a caravan with fellow members from the Great Lakes area.   I'll keep watch of the threads as it gets closer to the time, and maybe have more accurate information for everyone whether I'm able to make it or not.

Hey Norsky!  Anyway we can develop a section for caravans leaving from each of our established regions, where the relevant forum threads for each can be stored and updated?  That would make things much easier in case anyone is not able to post for a significant amount of time.

Just a thought.

Hey Mark,

Lots of options for keeping track of caravan related message traffic.  I was kind of hoping that by putting threads for the various region caravans in this forum all of the message traffic for the gathering could be contained in one place.  But folks aren't catching on to that at the moment so I'm a little hesitant to spread things out even more.  I'll noodle on a few things some more and check with Adam to get some input from him as well.

In the meantime I'm going to lock down this thread and refer any new messages to this thread.

Thanks!
