MEETING OF C3VR SATURDAY, JUNE 24th, 2006 @ 0900 PIGEON FORGE HOLIDAY INN
HISTORY: Founded in 2001 by Adam after searching the net and not finding any active Sites.
INTRODUCTIONS by going around the room and giving your name, sign on and where From.
FAVORITE THINGS ABOUT C3VR?
* Members (currently there are 500 active members)
* Knowledge-fast response
* No questions too dumb
* Supportive
* Commitment of members
* Posting of pictures
WHATS NEXT FOR C3VR? IDEAS FOR THE FUTURE
* For Sale section expanded with photos
* Log In screen-get rid of ? (Adam to look into)
* Members needed to send out reminders (need someone other than Adam to Handle the load)
* What would the incentive be to volunteer to help the club?
* What are key areas ifentified by Adam?
* Adam to guide Steering Committee
* Bring ideas from other Corvette Clubs
* Event Coordinator???
* Will post proposed/needed positions on website
* Can we leverage the power of our club?
* Cell Phones?
* Sponsors that are on website (Bairs has been aroung since the Beginning. Others come and go. Some companies dont get any Return so they drop out. Fees are proportionate to size.)
INCREASE MEMBERSHIP-KEEP EVENTS UPDATED
* Regional Chapters (by state? Region (multi-state? Depending on number Of members in each area)
* Organize local gatherings/events
* Need Chapter Captains
* Reps @ shows
* Run a C3VR booth (earn a commission)
* Use ABOUT menu to update
* Adam can mail flyers to you-just e-mail him with how many and Date needed.
* In your C3VR Profile, uncheck Events Calendar Box to get email updates
PICTURE POSTING IN FORUMS
* Currently in C3 General Discussion-can post as many as you want keeping Size of file down because of space used. Send e-mail to Adam or Jim and they Will try to help you.
* Is there a place to view photos from events such as this?
* Not at present, but could Be. Photos from this weekend can be burned on DVD and sent to Adam So he can post on website. There is a volunteer to do this-will see where to Send in a thread.

* Tips and Tricks out of Forum-add to website-will suggest to Moderators

CALENDAR & FORUM not related-have to put into both places but working on making Them better utilized.
EVENTS
* 3rd Annual Corvetts for a Cure-July 23rd
* Funfest 2006 (Jim Norsky representing C3VR) mid September-call for motel ASAP
* Carlisle-Aug.2006 (before Labor Day weekend)Adam will be there and will post A sign-up list to man the booth.
* C3 Extravaganza @NCM, Oct 13th renamed Classic Corvette Reunion because it Now includes C1s & C2s. Adam will not be present due to travel restrictions Imposed (sorry Adam had to include that!). There will be a Thread by Dave Wright regarding this.
* 2007 C3VR Meeting location-will be on West Coast. 50% of membership is on East coast and 50% in Midwest and West Coast so will alternate every year.
* To be the last week of June (much discussion on best time-no concensus)
* Three cities to be chosen by Adam then the membership will vote. Some Suggestions were,Las Vegas and Reno.
MISC
* C3VR Apparel Supplier: how long do you want to wait to receive your order? If You want custom colors you will have to wait longer but, if you have selected Or limited colors theres a shorter wait time.?
* Changing Trial Members limited access to site. Currently they have 90 days.
* Should we give them more access? Less time? Much discussion here. Will Keep the 90 days and give them more access.
2007 C3VR CALENDAR
* Need entries by 11/1/06
* Rules to be posted in News Forum
SHARK BYTES
* Need articles done Quarterly. Can include, but not limited to:tips, how-to projects History of your C3, product reviews, etc. for Gold & Lifetime members these are Available on-line and in print.
BIG THANK YOU to Theresa for the T-shirts
IRON MIKE showed an example of the custom banners that are available under shopping and very reasonably priced. Trophys and awards were given to the Caravan leaders from different regions based on who started the Thread. Also Included was a trophy for who drove the farthest, given to Terry from Alaska.
72 Members present.
Two sweatshirts given away by random number guess.
Adjourned @ 11:30 to have a group photo taken.

[/QUOTE]Oh, but you were! Adam did tell of the work you did, and a little of how the shirts were designed, by hand. Also mentioned was the quality of the printing/color! Not every word was recorded, but those there heard a round of applause for the shirts!
