Hey! I just got done watching the movie "Mystic Pizza" with Julia Roberts
from 1988. I had never heard of this movie before the gathering brought it to my attention. Good movie by the way. So that place is famous huh? I've got to know. Is the pizza really as good as the movie makes it out to be? "A slice of heaven". I'm sure with you guys being right there, some body must have eaten there.

Not sure Jimmy, if any body did it was Marshal and Candy. They had an extra day to check the whole town out b4 we got there. Marshal did steer me to the "5Guys" joint. We never had been there , and it was great.
Now any food you would eat sitting along side Juila Roberts would be "a slice of heaven"

I would have been a drooling idiot

That's what I'm talkin' about brother
. Before my radiation treatments, food and vettes used to compete for my 2nd passion. Since then, I watch the travel channel to see the best "Pig out" places in the U.S. 'cause, I can taste very little these days. Not that I could travel to the east coast just to endulge in such things, but we do have relatives there abouts, and you never know,....I mean "PIZZA", and " cheese steak sandwiches"
OH GOD! Sorry, I worked myself up
. What a beautiful thought.

Low miles (was only 8,900 when I bought it in March 2006) - Now 54K miles. Original owner bought it as an investment for son's college expenses.

Candi and I did eat there, after donating some money to the local Indian Tribe up at Foxwoods. Yes, the Pizza was very good. They said they did ok before the movie, but then got busier than they could handle after it came out. Now they stay busy, but it's more manageable.

They've got memorabilia around and have the movie running all the time!! I'm sure the employees love that movie by now (right)!
I took the leftovers back to the hotel and enjoyed it all week!
I wanted a Corvette my whole life, but I never dreamed of all the wonderful people I would meet because of it!

Thanks Marshall. It was good of you to donate to the local native american cause
. being one myself, I fully appreciate that. I just haven't figured out how to get in on the casino game
. I'm sure it would solve all of my problems. And thanks too for the story about "Mystic Pizza", that's very interesting. I wonder if they ship "live' overnight
.
