Don't remember seeing anything about this, but is anyone in the CA tour group planning on taking a tool box along for unexpected repairs along the way?   Dead  Which hopefully will not be needed! Clap

You have the trailer so you're nominated, Dan. I don't think much more than hand tools will fit along with luggage in the Vettes!

Rick and Rich, Hank knows his way once he gets on 83, Just worried about getting there. He'll love the mini-caravan, though!

Kinda thought that might be the case Barry. I was cleaning out my tool box from work and it occured to me that I didn't remember anybody mention it. So I can put it the back of my Trailblazer and fill it up!
I'm open to suggestions on what to take beyond the basics. If someone has some special tool that they think we might need that I don't and they can squeeze it in until we can hookup somewhere and transfer it over.

Dan I would hope we don't need much more than duct tape and vice grips.. but seriously I do keep a good bit in mine..it suprising how much stuff my timing light box will hold!.. I think a basic dvom and test light are all that is electrical tools needed..so I would think a set of basic stuff should do it..I doubt a rear wheel bearing press tool would be needed..I don't think that would be done in the walmart parking lot..but ya never know!! And what's this about a WORK tool box..I thought that as done!

This is the whole story, Rich. Brought my 3 tier tool box full of tools HOME from where I USED to work and was sorting and cleaning the box out in order to give my uncle since I already have a 3 tier and a work bench tool cabinet 8 feet long in my garage plus a 2 tier box in the house garage, when in the process of doing this, the thought about the idea of anybody taking tools along just in case they might be needed. Does that clear up the confusion??   LOL
