Is the plan for the group coming from Columbus to arrive at the rest stop close to the Indiana state line around 11:00AM? If so, that's when the wife and I will plan on being there, also.
It might be a good idea if you called me on my cell when you guys leave Columbus. OK?
Thanks.
Are we there yet?
Chuck

So far that's the plan, I will call when we leave Columbus, that way you will have a firm time to meet us.

[QUOTE=DaveM]The 522 route is 15 miles shorter and 20 minutes faster according to my map program. You still will be paying a toll either way. It's up to you guys. Don't go by way of Rt. 80, it's a pain going thru Youngstown area and confusing as well. Good luck Guys, see you in Columbus. Call me when you get to Columbus, if you're eating dinner there we can join you.

Hi Guys -
Frank & I will be meeting up with you at this spot also. I didn't see anything in the posts - was a decision made as to which exit Dan's meeting you at? Really looking forward to the trip. We've been so busy makeing up time at work too & working on the car (that's a whole 'NOTHER story...started w/ a Carb rebuild... then control arm bushings...steering coupling...idler arm....brake line blew...tranny maint. check disaster....strut rods....upper radiator hose blew.....let's see - everything's new now - we should be good!) I've been too tired to jump on & join in the festivities. darn - I won't need to buy anything at CA.

And now - since I am way too tired & have no biz being on line, I grabbed the wrong post to quote...LMAO....I mean to grab the one from Rich about where you're meeting up with Dan......Goodnight
I'll check tomorrow Thanks guys!

Barb, thanks for that last post. I'm only on my first cup of coffee and could not figure how you were going to go to CA and then meet us Wed. at the ILL state line......
ebo

We are all ....so going to Party!

I know the weather is allways suject to change but here is the latest for the NE group.
Tues NY-Pa Rain

So looks like I need to search up "How to Adjust T Tops"
Either way we b singing in the rain.
Group, should I bring my Cobra radios (walkie talkies) for first and last car or are we ok with the cell phones?

I'll be having my CB on if anybody else has one. (In addition to cell phone)

Hey, Everyone staying in Columbus ought to call the motel to confirm again. The Super 8 is now Motel 6! I just called and at first they're saying I was supposed to check in today! They're calling me back to get it straightened out! Hope I have a room! Vettes aren't very good to sleep in!
