ATTABOY Tim, It's been a lack of interest on OUR part that caused the decline of C3X and Classic Corvette Extravaganza..... Even I didn't go last year....
Don't blame the guys at the museum, I think us "Classic 'Vette" guys have been so many times we are sorta burned out on the thing.
My 2 cents...

I just registered, so I hope they have it this year.
Signed up for the wine tour, box lunch and dinner.
If anyone was on the fence, this may be the last one, so don't miss it.

I just found out my schedule won't allow me to make the trip this year.
I just want to say to those on the fence, I don't care where we meet. The pleasure is getting together and meeting the GREAT people from this forum. I had a blast last year (once I got there) and hope I can meet up with you guy's soon. Terry & Patty

Terry,
We will get together in 2008.
You just need to get that red beauty out more.

ok, I just registered for 2. only signed up for the Sat night dinner. I prefer to free lance rather than be stuck on an organzed function that i may not like .Besides if I tag along the back of the ride what could happen?
I did some calculations
1525 mile round trip, throw in 200 for tooling around if I`m a good boy , at 8 mpg I`ll need 222 gal fuel. at 2.90 a pop that`s $643.00 and 17 pitstops.
Maybe i should tow
. see you there. Probably late Thursday night.

I'm sure you guy's will have a blast. Toddle a tea for me.

You guys are making me feel bad... not driving an hour from Nashville. I guess we'll have to drive up for one of the C3VR gatherings or dinners and miss a part of the color cruise.

Dave
Autom8r,
I hope you and your better half can stop up and see us C3VR members.
I'm trying to see who wants to go out to dinner Wed., Thurs., or Fri. night, but everyone is waiting to see if they get a better offer.

When is the Center Lake Fall Color Cruise? Maybe we all can go to that, unless it is Saturday.
Let us know what you plan to do.

The Color Cruise is Saturday, about a hunnnert more or less houseboats cruise up the lake on Saturday, pull up to the bank and have a bodacious party all Saturday night and way up into the morning, then cruise back nursing hangovers Sunday.
We could haul a bunch of C3VRers down and back to the dock on Saturday, but we don't have a big enough boat to sleep them.
It would be a fun trip though!!
Keep me posted and we'll ride up for a dinner on Wed. or Thurs. evening regardless.
