Westbound route:
     Monday, 4/14 - DaveM, DaveW leave Shartlesville PA about 9:45 west on I78, meet Manchestershark at 10am at next exit, then w on I78 to I81 south. May meet Tricer at exit 291 (VA) at 1:30 for lunch, then south on 81 to exit 137 just south of Roanoke, VA. overnight at the Super 8 Motel.
     Tuesday, 4/15 - continue south on I-81 to I-40 then west on I-40.
      Connect with the Southeast Caravan (Ceastham1 & Barkingowl)at I40 exit 417, right on rt. 92 Perkins is on R.(about noon).
      Connect with Marion (Eurodesk) at exit 196 (just west of Nashville) around 4:30 eastern time, 3:30 central, will call him about 4 (EST) or 1/2 hour east of Nashville, if we can't make the times match, we will meet at the hotel at exit 82A. 
       Overnight stop at at the Ramada Limited- exit 82A on I-40 , south on N. Highland.
        Wednesday, 4/16 - continue west on I-40, meet Jimiam (phone call in AM) between Jackson & Memphis and then pick up SGM2004 (phone call in AM) somewhere west of Memphis then it's on to Little Rock, then west on I-30 to Hot Springs arriving early afternoon.
 
Every one please try to have a radio with you set on channel 5.3, will help for gas stops & such.
 
    ** This can be modified to suit people that want to join up with us.

Return route: Leave HS Sunday morning heading north to Branson, MO. Spend the night there. Head north to Springfield and then NEast along old Rt. 66 and the Interstate to St. Louis. Then east on I70 to Effingham (maybe a stop at Mid-America) then on to Indy (stop at track) then east to Dayton, OH. (stop at the Air museum at Wright-Patterson AF Base). Then east to Columbus, then north on I71 to see Ken Styer on Friday 4/25(hopefully). then DaveW will head NEast on I90 home in NY.
DaveM will head back to Columbus to spend time there with my son and hopefully new Grandchild. Then around 4/29 return to NJ on I70 east. 
Anyone who wants join in, or meet us in your area for a meal or join in on one of our stops post up.

It's not the destination as much as the journey.
We decided this year to take our time and enjoy the ride.
Going home we plan to take our time again and see some sights.

i just booked the hotel for arrival on the 16th   ... where you planning to stay on the 15th ... that will break up the drive to manageable chunks. and we can quaff a few on the 15th !!

We haven't picked a hotel for any of the stops yet.
Probably look for a Motel6, Super8, Days Inn or similar.
Any preferences?
