Well we know the area and soon the time, most likely in June but could be another time? Anyway, I would like to start a Caravan thread. I will call this the, "Northwest meets East at Reno Corvette Caravan"
I will arrive in Tacoma, Washington to start my trip to Reno, I would like to drive Hwy 97 and maybe Hwy 395 or other roads that C3VR members will travel. This time I want to travel with a lot of Corvettes. It would be nice if all Corvettes in the Northwest area, Washington, Oregon, Canada, and Northern California that plan to attend the 2007 C3VR Gathering could log in on this thread and lets plan a meet and travel plans to next years gathering.
Some of us have already talked about a trip so we will start with 6 or more already. I will compile a list with names, email address, cell phone numbers to start this off. Suncountry
and myself are experienced long distant travelers
, we did this last year from Washington to Pigeon Forge and return, between us we should be able to answer any questions that you may have about road travel, and based on my Corvette with two I think I have some answers to Corvette travel, fuel, luggage, and comfort,. so please sign up..If you missed the 2006 Gathering don't miss the 2007, it's what dreams are made of..Terry

Hey Terry, I will meet up with you in Tacoma this year
as we will be in British Columbia, Canada short drive to Seatle/Tacoma at that time so all I need is a date when you are going to arrive. Are we there yet

T
okay so it is rather early to get all pumped up, My wife and I are going to make it this year, FOR SURE, unless daughter has medical needs. Hopefully the corvette trip and the speaking engagenebt will be on different week ends, sad though, I'll miss the corvette BBQ in Oregon this year, great show.
Figure the wife and I will or could meet you in Tacoma or everyone there can stay wife us (wife doesn't know this yet) and the caravan can start from my house, only and hour and a half from tacoma, little town, one stop light... I will look into different routes also, might be nice to drive some down 101 on the coast from where I live and cut over across oregon, just a thought, keep me posted. Asked wife about if the confrence and vette things were same week end what to do, she said the vette thing since it is on the west side you have to go, so we are a 99.9% GO BABY!!
