I called them late today and it was all worked out phewThe tech didn't realize that he tripped the Vallet Switch on the alarm system.  Damn, they scared the crap outta me.  I should get the Pacer back in the morning Clap

Steve's planning on visiting his nephew on the way to CC; going through Truckee.  Hopefully we'll hook up with him before CC???

Maybe it's easier to stick to Plan A at this point.  I just prefer I205 to I5.  I205 splits off I5 around the Salmon Creek area.  Basically, I205 parallels I5 but east of Portland so you miss most of the congestion.  You hook up with 84 shortly after crossing the Columbia.  Hopefully, the morning rush will be gone by the time you hit Portland.  Might also want to listen to trafffic reports.  There's only 2 bridges across the Columbia in the Portland area.  If one's got an issue, they both have an issue!!!!  But you definitely want to avoid one that is clogged up because of an accident.

Definitely take I-205.  205 has some traffic but it's nothing compared to I-5 almost any time of day - especially rush hour times.  I-84 east of I-205 is also a breeze.  How about we meet at the Buckhorn Restaurant at 0900.  If I recall correctly, it's in the T/A complex (I-84 exit 17).  Turn into the driveway BEFORE the gas station and park west of the building.  Never eaten there but, hey, it's a truck stop.  Must be good.  2 hours from Oly should be plenty of time.

Okay Terry, correct me if I'm wrong.  You are meeting Larry and I at the Maytown rest area between 8:30 and 8:45?  And you expect to be outside Portland at 9:00?  If I'm reading that right, there ain't no Corvette that fast sir LOL  At a minimum its atleast 2 hrs to Portland from our link up point.
