When it gets closer........i dunno maybe i will try to start up another northeast caravan.....not sure how many would sign up to it though.

OK Caravaner's, the dates are in place so I will start the ground work for the road trip out of the Northwest. I'll will send PM's to every one gathering info for the attendance sheet. We should all try to get as many Corvettes as possible to hook up with us too make this trip. I for one will put in for vacation on Friday. I don't want to miss this one..Well for many reasons, number 1 is..... I'll be driving "HER-96"
...Well I did want to match my 1976 with 80Stroker's car??
..Now, I want to take both??
What did I do??spielman5 2006-11-08 10:54:06

hecko All, Its hard to predict how a June Show will Work for My Fishing Season that Time of Year is Pretty Tight. However if it works I'm all In. But as my Restoration- Modernazation Project is Coming togeather what better way to get it on its first Road Trip. And this brings back Memories of My last Big Road Trip in the 80' wich was from Seattle to Ely Nevada and that was for the Nevada Sierra Classic 100. Went through Eastern Oregon on the way down and took 101 back up the Coast. Highlights included seeing 168 mph in the 100 race and Crossing the Golden Gate Bridge and the Astoria Bridge 10 Hours later. That was in 1993 and I'm a bit Older and Slower Now.

Any updates on the route/days? We'll probably shoot for Gresham to Reno in 1 day -- 20 June (1 long day!). We could take Hwy 26 out of Gresham and link up with others in Bend, OR (then 97 to 395). Does that match up with the route/date for any of you?

My plan is to have my car in Tacoma ready for pick up in the morning of June 18th, Monday.. I have not put out an email yet but I guess I better soon, I think we are about 12 strong and counting? I don't know which direction yet, I need info from the two Canadian Corvettes, some will meet in Tacoma, some on 395 or 97, Bend and so on..Do we shoot it in a day, leave on the 6/20 arrive on the 21st..Leave on the 19th and do it in two? Let me get email address and send out a note..Stand by..Terry
