Moving east on I-84 for 20 minutes looking for Karan and hubby Finch, I wonder who will be driving? ........ Up at 07:00 with a clear head ...... [/QUOTE]
We may have to flip for it!

Up at 7 am with a clear head....hmmmmmmmm.... Not sure about the clear head part!
Hubby can start out driving that day.

So, do you guys want to stop again or should we just plan on keeping in contact and merging into the caravan as it races by?

Karen, after we get on I-84 and head east is there a rest stop near? I'll call you when we move from I-5 to I-84 and you can connect with us as we race by..

There isn't a rest stop for quite awhile. At least, I don't think there is....I'm usually just leavin home so don't pay attention! Anyway, we're easy (just not cheap!)
If it'd make things smoother, we could back track to where you're meetin up with the rest of the Portlanders....course that merge sounds pretty cool too...

Terry,
What do you think your ETA will be to Biggs Junction? I am guessing 11:45 am. Its about 30 minutes from Moses Lake to George where I will meet up with Keith72. Then it will be another 1-1/2 hrs to Toppenish where we will meet up with Nuclear Bob out of the Tri-Cities. From there we will run for another hour to Biggs Junction. Its 190 miles for me so I might have to stop in Goldendale for fuel. Not sure what my range is.
wow 190 miles on a tank that is about 100 miles more than me........

Just reviewing the charts and it's 250 miles from FIFE to Biggs Junction. You better give me 4 hours, so if I start at 0800am connect with Mark and Larry about 08:30, hit Portland at 09:40am and pickup the 2nd group, 10:15 get Karen, then run to the Junction, I forgot about you C3's and the gas mileage?? Add 30 minutes more for a fuel stop. We will be at the Junction 12:30/12:45.. I will call each group as I get close. If thing go wrong the main Caravan will call its position and problems to the next hook up point..

No Terry you forgot how far a wife can go on a full tank
Hopefully we will only need one stop for fuel

Ok
Norhtwest Caravaners The first nights stop will be at Redmond Oregon, I have called the Eagle Crest resort, they are working out the details and will call me back tomorrow sometime, I requested a lit parking area for the cars and a block of rooms together so we can see the cars. Mike Dunn did some leg work so they knew a Corvette group was arriving on June 19th. After they call me back I will post a phone number for each to call to get a room. For those who are sleeping under the stars,
are there mosquitoes in Oregon?
It won't be long now..
