Caravan Members I will be carrying a GMRS Radio, it will be on channel #22..I know I said #23 but I don't have a channel 23. I will have an extra radio for another member. There are other members who also have them, so we will pass them around..Jeff, I know you will join us near Reno, so monitor this channel. Do you have this channel? I have your cell..
Terry, my daughter has a set of Motorola Talkabout T5000 walkie talkies. According to the info I could find, they have
7 GMRS/FRS 1 Watt Channels
7 FRS 1/2 Watt Channels
8 GMRS 1 Watt Channels
Up to 5 mile range
Do ya think these would be sufficient?
By the way, we booked our room at the Eagle Crest Resort.

Sure, they will do fine, I don't think the Caravan will be that long. So you will be able to communicate with everyone? Well, except the ones who have side exhaust? The Caravan members want to use Channel #3 so set your hand held and stand by..Terry
Thanks Karen..

Question.... I understand that the channel numbers don't always match up between different companys. I have the GXT 600 Midland flavor and Ch#3 is 462.6125 MHz. I can do a little research to see which radios crossover to which channels. If anyone isn't sure just let me know your make/model numbers. Karen must have her book handy or a REAL good memory
