Okay guys and gals, so we know how we are getting there, we know where we are eating, we know what we are doing while there, now, how are we getting home Confused

I know Terry is going on a whirl-wind tour of the Southwest but the rest of us better look at our trip home.  Do the majority of us need to zoom up I-5 to get back to work?  Or do we wanna take another senic route back?  And are we attempting this in one day or do we have two days?

I don't have to be back to work until the 2nd of July so I don't care what we do.  Pam (my better half) does have to be back to work on Tuesday the 26th so that leaves alittle play time on the way back.

Some of the ideas I have are, a return up Hwy 101 and the Oregon Coast, or return through Lassen National Park then I-5, or a trip up through Central Washington then I-90 into Seattle.  We may also need to look at making reservations on the way back if we do traveling in a pack.

Let me know what you all think on this.

We were planning on taking it slow on the way back -- 2 days.  It now looks like I'll have to be back to work on Monday (got a deadline Friday and I'll probably need all week to work through the mess!)  So, our plan for now is a straight shot, one-day trip back to Gresham.  That may change if things start falling into place this week.

I thought I would stop for the night in Bend since my sister lives there. I still might do it in one day though depending how I feel once I reach Bend.

How about Hwy 44 out of Reno to Hwy 36, then north off 36 through Lassen Volcano National Park, back on to 44 and on into Redding , CA where we can hook up with I-5.

Don't know if this map will work but heres a Mapquest
