I was to fly out of Philly at 7:30am this morning, connect with a flight in Chicago and arrive in Reno at 12pm local time.

I got a call at 1:30am today saying the 7:30am flight had been pushed to 9:30 and therefore I'd miss my connection in Chicago.

LONG story short I'm now on a completely different airline, getting into Reno at 3:55pm.
Also, unfortunately, I'm not going home via the same route as originally planned on Sunday. So I will not be able to meet up with Joel & Mickey for lunch.

Oh, yeah, plus this new flight plan cost me about $400 more.

On the bright side, if all goes well (from this point on) I'll still be in Carson in time for dinner with the group. Hope to see everyone then.
This will be my last internet connection before I get to Carson, so I'll write again tonight from my hotel.
Be good, kids!

See, if you drove the '79, you wouldn't have missed any connections.
And think of all the member's couches you could have slept on.

Think about that for next year.
