Do to issues beyond my control (did I ever really have control) It does not look like we will be making this years Gathering.

Our children were dealt to us later in life and while most of our close friends children have children......we still have 2 teenagers at home one 14 and one 15. Our usual family support that watches over the kids, house, and pets can not support us this time.
I'm truely in the dumps and have been mooping around for over a week now.
I guess that $600.00 dollar gas kitty will just have to be used for the Red Vette project car instead...... so that is the only plus out of this.......

What!?! Pull 'em out of school and bring them on an educational field trip!

Or Lori can still come while you watch the kids! Or if she doesn't trust you with them, you can come stag.

Plus, who else is going to enjoy an appletini with me if you don't come?!

Vikingvette and his GPS unit (Brenda) will be arriving on Thursday afternoon, I just haven't paid Clint yet.  I will see him on Easter and will pay him then.

Clint, have you been to 'The Wreck' in Charleston?  For seafood, it is best, but it is a little difficult to find.  When my daugher and son-in-paw lived in Summerville, they took us there (ok...we followed them and we paid for it...BUT they did lead the way).  But, Shem Creek is so close to the hotel and some great food can be had!  I too do not care for seafood (GASP), but Brenda LOVES it.

Peace out

Man, ebo, you're making me upset! I need your Vette there so I can prove mine is blue! We'll really miss you guys if you can't come, But we do understand. Luckily, our daughters are 21 and 22 so they have to mind the store (and Jackie's Mom) while we are gone (animal menagerie, too!). They aren't extremely thrilled with it, but thats the way it is! I'm praying for a miracle to help you guys make it!

I've been really bummed out over this.....thus the lack of post on C3 from me.
Too close to year end to pull the kids out of school, still leaves the house and animals unattended.
Plus Lor's mom would be alone while sister in law is gone, and that's not a good thing.
Just too many things to hurdle, as they say some things are meant to happen for a reason, just do not know that reason yet.
I'll be ok, just not happy. I do get over things quickly and move on........but this one is tough.
If I told you the situation surrounding the sister in laws trip it would be even worse.....not her fault but the event she is supporting...well thats another story....

Cry We understand my friend, Believe us we do.  Kids are important, and ALL training is for a reason. You and Lori WILL be missed. BUT, if you show up at Charleston at the last minuet, we Promise to forego the Fanbelt treatment.
