I wanted to remind everyone about the  FREE  mailings from the City of Bend.  For anyone that doesn't know, "Visit Bend", (the City of Bend Welcome Center),  has put together a mailing for C3VR members.  The mailing will include brochures of the events we are planning for this years Gathering as well as a copy of the itinerary, maps  and points of interest of the  Central Oregon area.  If you have already requested a mailing, they should be in the mail next week. Anyone interested, even if you haven't yet decided to attend, can request the mailing.  To request your package, please contact  www.visitbend.com  identifying yourself as a C3VR member. And don't forget to check out the web sites for the activities that are listed on the itinerary.
Mike

Response from Visit Bend:
Please have them email their mailing addresses and reference "corvette group gathering" to Valerie@visitbend.com.   Valerie will be  coordinating  the mailing.
Thanks!

Thanks Mike, Clap
I sent Valerie a request and asked about a group rate to the High Desert Museum.
I am planning on going there Friday July 16th. So if anyone does not want to go to Creater Lake, they can tag along to the High Desert Museum in the morning and then hang out at the hotel.

Steve, I think anyone who isn't planning on the drive to Crater Lake should take you up on the High Desert Museum.     There is also the Lava Lands just across the highway.

Hay everyone coming to the gathering in Bend July 2010. Just found out that to get into the High Desert Museum, we get a 10% discount. All you have to do is show your Shilo Inn key at the time you pay for admission. They are open from 9to 5. So Friday July 16th is a go. Can we get an idea as who would like to go there? Yes I know that the Crater Lake Tour is also that day. Cool
So many choices...so little time.Big smile
