So, I'm looking to have a banquet on Saturday night as the Cap to our weekend. It would be held at a hotel conference center. It would include a table-served dinner and we'd have the formal member meeting during the dinner. Dinner includes salad, your choice of meal, 2 sides, dessert, coffee, water, tea. It does not include alcoholic beverages or soft drinks.
There can be a cash bar in the room if enough of you think you'd use it for alcohol and soft drinks.
The price I'm getting is between $30 & 35/person. Is that too much? Will you guys be ok paying that much?
Please let me know your thoughts ASAP.
Thanks!

Adam,
Is this dinner for the big round up or the NV trip?

[QUOTE=82Sharkman]Adam,
Take a look near the top of the post, you should see that the forum category is "2007 C3VR Member Gathering"
That rules out it being about anything but the Carson City, NV trip.
Hope you can make it!

I'm game
$30/$35 probably about right for a good sit down dinner. As for the cash bar, I'm not much of a drinker so my vote would be no.

Price is OK with me. I can't drink so cash bar does nothing for me.

I'm OK with the price. I vote yes for the cash bar (almost always have wine with dinner) but can bring it in from the main bar if that's allowed. Guess I could live without it for one dinner........
Price sounds ok with me for a good dinner.

Gave up drinking years ago so don't need the cash bar. Even if I did drink, I wouldn't. Leaving early Sunday with a lot of miles to drive. Wouldn't want a hangover.

Price for the dinner sounds fine with me. I am not a big drinker (that reminds me, I have a beer waiting for me upstairs ) so I don't need a cash bar.
dinner price is great and i for one would a bar that i could go to and get cash. atfer all the years of leaving cash at bars it would be nice to have it go the other way..... really i get up drugs and drinkin' 15 years ago, work kept interfering with my high so i had to quit.
if you can get a price break by suppling your own main course, let me know, see what i can do about that, new york strip, fresh salmon, figure i/we could have it shipped to the hotel for the dinner, let me know and i'll see what magic i can do....
