...of bringing the vette. Garage isn't done with it yet and I need to do a few things before the drive. Mainly get miles on it to make sure it'll handle the trip and get the wipers to work. Worse case I'll be bringing the truck or heading out a day late. Looks like the weather isn't going to be that good, is going to be fine, all hell is going to break loose. Depending on which weather site you visit. Holy cow I forgot to mention...AND get the new radio installed!!

Bring the mechanic a pizza to work late and "get-er done".
Wipers are overrated....RainEx robs no horsepower or MPG.
Jerry rig the radio to sit on the floor until you can get back home.

Good Luck!

Rainx already applied. Forget pizza, I just want it back. Radio is overrated. I can use my phone to listen to mp3's. More importantly it's the mileage. Need to get at least a couple hundred on it before the trip.

What's the verdict Dave, are you going or are you staying? (That sounds like a good title for a Country & Western song.)

Rain looks like it will be an issue, so I would get the wipers going and forgo the radio.

Hope to see you there.

Dave

Not bringing the vette. Long story that I can share at the gathering. See everyone there.
