From NCM in regards to one of the events during the Classic Corvette event:
we have arranged for one of the seminars to be a roundtable with people who worked at St Louis and the early days in Bowling Green. They will be talking about the changes in the Corvette as well as the changes in manufacture.
Adam, when I went through the plant tour in June I was wearing my St Louis C 3 Sharks club shirt. Several of the guys from the St. Louis plant approached me and spoke with me about the old days and how they miss St Louis . It was awesome!
I hate to miss that discussion, just from what I got to talk with them I would say it will be well worth the time .

I went through the St Louis plant in 1965 with my YMCA Indian Guides tribe...I don't know if they did it just for us or not, but after the Vette went through QC, the guy smoked the tires out the door. That was when my decision was made..." I want one of those!!!". I was 7 years old at the time........Still remember it vividly. Drove by the plant every Sunday on the way to church..........Oh yea, they were also building '65 Impala's there as well.
