Thanks for suggesting the XXX-RootBeer "All Corvette Show" Melissa and Jim but I don't think the Seattle area would be a good location. Although I'd love to see us all at that show (and win most club members again) I'm kinda getting tired of it. It's a great show with well over 300 Corvettes and not to mention THE GREAT FOOD, but I wanna go on a road trip to the 2010 Gathering. Anyone thought about Napa Valley, CA and the Redwood Forests?

OK -- I am a little biased, but I would like to suggest a little town northwest of Colorado Springs known by the name of Woodland Park. It is just 25 miles up from Colorado Springs, but we can use the location as a springboard for some outstanding drives and some good sights. One of them being the Rocky Mountain Dinosaur Resource Center right here in the city limits. The owner is a car enthusiast ( at last count had 16 different makes and models and he has a very interesting dinosaur museum). Other things to do -- drive up twisty, windy Colorado 67 to a little mining town known as Cripple Creek for a day of shows, food and gambling. Just a few thoughts on the possible -- and there are some good eateries in the area!

I thought that Dwain had already put in for Colorado Springs in this thread, but I can't seem to find it... so guess I'll make sure it's in the runnin. Lots to do in that area with Garden of the Gods, Pikes Peak and many other things. Also, there's that nice run up to Cripple Creek at the base of Pikes Peak... gots lots of casinos too.

Second thought... Funny, both had to do with Colorado Springs.

I know the voices aren't real, but they have some pretty cool ideas...
