Sure wish I was going with you guy's. Was down there last week in PF for a day of fun with my son and his family. He lives in Morristown, about 45 min. away. The go-carts were a blast. if you go through Severiville, check out the Dinner. It resembles the ones from the 50's. The day we went, it was overcast and cool, but the traffic was from stop light to stop light. Almost forgot, next to the go-cart track is bungie jumping for JOEL if someone wants to add some extra cord for his jump. If you get a chance, ride the carts on the wooden track that's on a spiral incline. The NASCAR carts are quite pricey. My cost for gas down and back was $90 @ 2.70 per gal. About a 8 hr trip from Mich. Was wondering if anyone though of inviting Corvette Fever or some of the other vette mags to do a feature artical on the C3VR event when you are in PF? Have fun..

Alright, here are a few more suggestions, all of which are in PF: (For those of you who like things off the beaten path.)

CARBOS POLICE MUSEUM - This is kind of morbid, but they have some memorabilia from the "Walking Tall" sherriff, Buford Pusser, including the charred remains of the 1974 corvette in which he was killed.

ELVIS MUSEUM - Featuring the worlds largest private collection of Elvis memorabilia.

LASERPORT - Featuring the largest area laser game arena in the US.

THE MINE - Work the world famous Franklin Mine and watch rubies, sapphires, and other gem stones being cut and shaped.

FLYAWAY - One of the nations only indoor skydiving simulators.

SMOKEY MOUNTAIN CAR MUSEUM - Hank Williams Jr.'s Silver Dollar Car, the James Bond car from Goldfinger and Thunderball, Elvis' mercedes, and many more.

There is a site which lists a Corvette Expo in Knoxville, and has events in PF, but none are in June.  I didn't find any local clubs, but maybe someone from this site would know, and be able to arrange something:

Just some more ideas......

If we have a car show or something, could we have a Muffler Rapping Contest???? Just a thought!
