Man, that some scary stuff. One thing that freaked me out was seeing and Aqua Glass (Tom Bigbee)trailer in the photo's. I'll be talkin with dispatch about that. These guys know better to be driven the section of road.

Hey guys living close to the dragon I have seen trucks with campers, motor homes, and all kinds of slow moving vehicles trying to navigate this road. It is a fun drive but, I do not believe that it will be fast in June. This is during the tourist season and people not knowing better try to use this road to bypass traffic.
And lets not forget about "the Honda Hoot" the only thing slower than a
motorhome in them mountains is a honda gold wing. I don't think we are
going to get to make any spirited runs but I think we will have a good
time and we can say we run the dragon.

Pigeon Forge to Gatlinburg, thru the National Park for some nice serene scenery, to Townsend and the Foothills Pkwy where the scenery becomes just a bit more "open". Then on to the Tail of the Dragon (318 turns in 11 miles) and a break at Deal's Gap. You get a bit of everything on this "three hour tour"....
The speed limit on the Dragon is 35....and with all the switchbacks and curves, you won't be going that fast very often.
This is Deal's Gap...and the halfway point on that route....

Oh yeaha....
Just as long as it's not to busy where we all can fit our vettes in. There's the bikers we have to keep a eye on. Might be a lot of them there.
Good. One of the bikers can take our picture. Even if we can't squeeze all the Vettes in the picture, we can get our smiling faces in the picture.
And Mike, don't forget the C3VR banner!!!
