Voted for Yellowstone National Park because have never been there. However, Glacier National Park would be great also. Let's stay away from big cities if possible. Will probably attend wherever it is held unless LA

Most of you have never heard of Humboldt State Redwood Park???
Some of the most spectacular redwoods of California, Oregon & Washington...
The home of the tallest trees in the world. 380+ feet tall. So tall that they create their own weather!
This is part of Northern California that most tourist don't see. There are hundreds of other stops all over No-Cal. 49er Trail... the road today that was the pack trail of the gold rush in 1849. This is just north of the State Capitol of Sacramento. The route 49 is like the route 66 of the 1850-1930's.
If you decide on Seattle/Tacoma... I suggest that you travel all the way up route 101 & route 1 of California, Oregon & Washington for some of the most spectacular scenery and small fishing/resort towns that love cars.
Great places along the way like Mendocino, CA., Brooking, OR., Coos Bay, OR., Astoria, OR., Aberdeen, WA... Light houses, Great Bed & Breakfast Inns, Food like no other place in the country. Not to mention that you turn towards Olympia, WA on the way home where major superhighways connect NSEW. My advice is to return thru the Mt. Rainer National Park to Yakima, WA. Or head S to Portland, OR then up the Hood River going east. Maybe stop in Walla Walla, WA... Saffron Mediterranean Kitchen is great for dinner.
Good luck,

No no no no no...hopefully yes.
My brother lives in San Fran. Always go to Napa for lunch or dinner and Muir woods for that moment of zen. Wherever the gathering happens to be I'll have to get some advice from you on which route to take. Right now I'm including San Francisco, Seattle, Ozette Wa., Glacier, Yellowstone, Grand Tetons and Las Vegas for starters.

I wanted a Corvette my whole life, but I never dreamed of all the wonderful people I would meet because of it!

ParrotHead said: Pacific NW, of course, works for us. But I second the thought that it not be IN a big city. There are several smallish burgs along the I5 corridor that would be a great start/end to some fantastic drives. Mt Hood/Hood River, Mt. St. Helens, Olympic Peninsula, Oregon Coast, etc.

+1 on staying out the big cities if we do PNW, Seattle is a great place to visit via train or ferry but not with a bunch of Corvettes. I live in Gig Harbor which is right across the Narrows Bridge from Tacoma. It is close to many great places but still has a small town feel. My wife and I would gladly help out if the event comes this way. Perhaps some of the guys who live in Seattle have a different opinion and could provide their recommendations.
