Lets put another one in there, how about St. Louis? There is alot of country around here and great for cruises. Not to mention all the wineries. If you decide in September, make it the Sunday after labor day. Our car club puts on a car show the weekend after Labor Day. We usually have a cruise on Friday, fish fry on Saturday and car show on Sunday. We even have a C3 class. Last year we have about 30 Corvettes at the show and total of 162 registered cars. It makes for a great weekend.

I just thought of something, if Kansas City is picked, you can get some help from members of the Kansas City Corvette Association. They have a very large member base and I know one of the guys who is very respected in that club.

St. Louis was suggested earlier, however we are now in the phase of the process that is a selection from the three in this vote (above): Kansas City, Hot Springs or Dallas.
Thanks.
Sundew is right about Texas, it will also be very hot in May, I know because I have been there in May. The other two selections won't be much cooler. Sorry, but the time of the year should be changed, just my opinion, Gene
Average temp in Dallas in May is 73 with a max of 83. Plus, we'd be going in EARLY May, which only lowers the temp.

Alaskans don't go to TEXAS we have the bigger state..
Thats a long drive for a free transmission inspection and a free Bar-B-Qued armadillo leg.
.Kidding, I'd love to go see my buddy in his own state. The wifes problem is the kids do not get out of school up here until the last week of may? We'll have to work that out.. Are we there yet..

Averages are just that. We are setting a record for rainfall for the year at almost 3 feet over the "average". This after 10 years of about 1 - 3 feet BELOW average.
Sometimes we can open the pool in late April and sometimes LATE May before the temps are good enough.
The weather will be what the government wants it to be
I shore hope AR wins as they at least have roads that turn once in a while. TX, like OK & KS, is laid out E/W & N/S for 90%+.
I am truly surprised that Branson didn't make the list. As Adam said, he reserves the right to piss us off and it is his forum and his party ultimately so he doesn't have to let us vote or hold the gathering.

Perfect !!!
People complained last year that C.C. in june was going to be "Too Hot". The research Adam did on the temps said different. The weather there was beautiful, just as predicted, I know, I was there. The average temp. is just that, it's the middle between the recorded high and the recorded low. Looks to me that weather it's a little on the high side or a little on the low side, it's still good weather !...... Just my .02
I wish we had more than 3 choices to choose from, that kinda sucks
