Is it just me, or does anyone else think it is amazing that this is going to be the 6th annual event!?!?

Hi everyone! I just voted for Hot Springs, AR. I agree with Dave Wright that this would be the best choice for what we want to do. Lot's of good touring roads, excellent scenery and a slower pace to life. Should be able to get a lot of "face time" with fellow participants.
A suggestion has been made to pursue a regional meet in St. Louis for the September 2008 time frame. If there is enough interest in this type of event, I will volunteer to help/assist in research for potential hotel sites, road tours, etc.

Hello again!
cj5nutz had a great suggestion concerning a day trip to Mid- America Motorworks as a activity for a regional meeting. I did not know Mid-America offered this event, however it would make a great focal point for a weekend (Saturday and Sunday) regional get together. Come into Effingham on Friday night, go to Mid-Am on Saturday, etc.
If there is a lot of interest in a St. Louis area regional meeting, we could plan two events at different times of the year. One to Effingham and another in the St. Louis area. There are great touring roads just west of St. Louis with wineries galore that might may a great day trip. Just food for thought.
Thanks
Anyone who voted for Dallas and wants to change their mind, send Adam an e-mail.
If we end up in Hot Springs, we can go visit Ben and help him finish his project. I'll bring a couple of rattle cans of RED.
